This 6-week program is suitable for friendly dogs over 9-months old who have not had formal obedience training. Adult Beginner is a great course for rescues to help with training, and building a bond with your new dog. We will cover basic obedience skills like sit, down, stand, wait, stay, walking on a leash and coming when called. During class, there is the opportunity to discuss strategies for behavioural concerns that arise with adult dogs. The class also includes tricks and games to keep everyone motivated. This program is not suitable for reactive dogs. Graduates of this class qualify for the Intermediate program.
