Apprenticeship Programme

We offer a 4-semester Apprentice Program for those who wish to learn how to teach many types of dogs the necessary skills to live happily in our society.

Each semester is 40 hours and can fit into your schedule.  You will learn from, and work with, our talented roster of Dog Obedience Instructors, and will be mentored by our founder, Judy Emmert.  Cost per semester is $1,000.
Good communication skills and power of observation are necessary – great sense of humour, coupled with love of dogs and people is essential.  Call Jackie at office to arrange a meet and greet for full details.

Dealing With Games

Want to put some fun back in training your dog?  Our Dealing With Games course is a four week program where you will inspire your dog to perform with enthusiasm and a competitive spirit.  The Beginner Games will include Musical Chairs, DWD Relay, DWD Recall Race, and Distance Catch.  The Advanced Games will challenge your communication skills with your dog using verbal only or signal only commands.  We will continue to focus on the required skills to perform each game (stays, waits, attention, recalls, catch, drop it) and compete on the last night for Grand Champion and Reserve Champion!
