Lisa joined Judy Emmert’s apprenticeship program in 1998. After being called the “dog girl” her whole life, Lisa was delighted to put her love of dogs into practice as dog training class instructor. Judy instilled the importance of early training as a way to “save dogs’ lives”. Lisa particularly enjoys helping families adjust to the demands and joys of having a new puppy. Dogs remind us to be in the moment. Communicating effectively with your canine companion results in a devoted relationship that is beyond price. Lisa participates in numerous dog sports and simply enjoys spending time with her canine pals. Lisa and her family share their life with a Scottish Deerhound named Archer and a miniature Dachshund named Tali.
